Gee further improves its UVDB Achilles Verify assessment

Further improvements to its working practice rating under the UVDB Verify assessment scheme has been recorded by chemical dosing equipment and thermoplastic tank supplier Gee & Company. Following the latest audit, evaluation of the company’s on-site results shows a 96% score for health and safety and a 100% figure for quality.

The Achilles UVDB database serves as a reference throughout the utilities sector, with its Verify scheme used to assess supplier performance within the critical functions of health, safety, environment and quality.

Commenting on the results, Barry Green, Gee’s sales director, said, “Last year’s performance set a very high benchmark. As a result of the structures that we have since put in place to improve key performance issues for the utilities sector, Gee has now achieved an assessment that reflects this continued improvement in standards - and is close to optimum.”

Gee & Company designs and manufactures chemical dosing plant and systems that are widely used for the treatment of water and waste streams in the utility and power generation sectors. The company engineers and supplies bespoke systems for the treatment of industrial wastewater and effluents, as well as designing and producing thermoplastic chemical storage tanks and scrubbers.
