Gee & Company has acquired the UK distributorship for the range of top and side entry mixers, agitators and stirrers from Milton Roy. This brings together the combination of a market-leading range of sealed and unsealed mixers, supported by the Gee computer-based mixer selection service.
This Gee service – overlaid by the company’s thirty-year specialisation in chemical dosing - gives process users access to a optimised, computer-based model that is tailored to give a customised configuration for every specific application.
Gee’s range offers a choice of twelve mixers across a wide range of tankage capacities - from 0.5 right through to 400 cubic metres. It comprises six models suitable for open tanks and a further six models incorporating a lip seal, where the product to be agitated would otherwise give off aggressive fumes.
Customisation options include carbon steel, coated steel or coated stainless steel finish, mechanical or electronic speed variators, ambient temperatures, motor and impeller speed options, special paints and performance tests.
This advanced range of fully proven and tested mixing equipment has a broad range of preparation applications across the water treatment, fine chemicals, power generation, petrochemical and process industries. Within the latter, specific applications can be found in papermaking, speciality chemical manufacture and a variety of chemical process applications.
Gee has spearheaded the use of factory-built package plant for chemical dosing.
