Dosing skids

Gee has over thirty years’ experience in the design and manufacture of chemical storage and dosing skid systems – experience that is widely acclaimed across the utility, power generation, industrial water and process engineering sectors.

Select from either our standard or custom-built range of skid mounted modules. These are available in the range of capacities and normally embrace chemical storage tank, bund, dosing pumps, pipework and electrical controls – all of which are safely contained behind splash guards within a polypropylene skid.

Thermoplastic storage tanks are all Gee designed and manufactured to the requirements of appropriate British standards – for example BS4994 - using a variety of plastic materials that include polyethylene, polypropylene PVDF and PVC. They can be of welded construction or GRP-wrapped to provide a combination of chemical resistance and structural strength.

Municipal water treatment

Gee systems are widely used within the water industry for the treatment of both potable and wastewater – in applications such as phosphate removal, septicity control and chemically-aided settlement for sewage treatment. For potable water applications, systems are provided for coagulant addition, orthophospheric acid dosing for plumbosolvency control, flocculation for the recovery of wash water and dewatering of sludges from water treatment works.

Industrial water treatment

Gee’s universal experience in the water treatment industry gives us a unique capability for the pre-treatment of water for boiler and cooling tower applications within the power generation, process and HVAC sectors. Gee also offers pre-treatment systems, including base exchangers and demineralisation plant and processes based on membrane technology. Typical chemicals used in these applications are for the control of scale, corrosion and steam quality and - within cooling applications – the control of bacteria, including legionella.

Process engineering

Gee dosing systems are widely used right across process industries in application such as the dosing of chemicals for the paper and pulp sector, for injecting CIP chemicals in the food and drinks industries and for the recovery of waste water in process plants such as the electronics industry. In addition, systems are available for petrochemical processes and materials used in the construction industry, including cement.
